We wanted to take a moment to clear up any confusion that may exist regarding Lakewood Local and The Local Pizzeria. We know that there have been many complaints about the prices and food quality of The Local Pizzeria, but we want to make it clear that we are not associated with this establishment in any way.

Unfortunately the owner of The Local Pizzeria, Chris Smith, decided to use the name Local to capitalize on Lakewood Local’s good reputation. We find this to be incredibly disappointing and frustrating, as we have worked hard to build a strong reputation within the community.  And now, by Smith’s own admission in his social media posts, people are complaining about the prices and food quality.

We take pride in offering high-quality food and a welcoming atmosphere to our customers. We understand that dining out can be expensive, which is why we strive to keep our prices reasonable and fair. We believe that good food should be accessible to everyone, regardless of their budget.

In light of the recent complaints about The Local Pizzeria, we want to assure our customers that we are committed to providing the best possible dining experience to everyone who walks through our doors. We believe that transparency and honesty are key to building trust with our customers, which is why we wanted to address this issue head-on.
